A ten-week summer research program, running since 1979, in which undergraduates conduct a mentored research project with a Caltech or JPL faculty member across science, engineering, and mathematics. Students develop a proposal, carry out the work full time, and present their findings in a seminar. Fellows receive a stipend for the summer period.
