A Department of the Interior direct-hiring initiative under which the Bureau of Land Management runs an 11-week paid summer internship for current college students, delivered through partner organisations including American Conservation Experience, Great Basin Institute, HACU, the Student Conservation Association and the University of Alaska Anchorage. Participants who meet OPM qualification standards become eligible for direct hire into permanent BLM positions.
