An annual biomolecular design competition for undergraduate teams, who build devices from the molecules of life. Previous winning teams have used DNA, RNA and proteins as building blocks to create autonomous robots, molecular computers and prototypes for nanoscale therapeutics. Projects are student-led each year and teams travel to the Jamboree in March to present their work and compete for awards. Team registration for BIOMOD 2026 is open.
