Travel awards supported by a National Institutes of Health grant that cover registration for the American Society for Virology annual meeting, helping students present experimental results to the virology community. Separate tracks exist for predoctoral students, postdoctoral fellows and teachers of undergraduate virology, and a limited number of awards go to undergraduate students. Applicants must be ASV members - postdocs should join under the Associate membership category - and full members are not eligible. Applications require the abstract ID for the meeting submission, except for the teachers' award, and award recipients receive a unique registration link rather than registering in advance.
