American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS)
A $3,000 one-year award for current or prospective graduate students, named in memory of William A. Fischer. It supports graduate-level study of new and innovative uses of remote sensing data and geographic information systems. Applicants must be active or student members of ASPRS and apply through the society's single combined scholarship application, which requires transcripts, a statement of educational and research goals, and two letters of recommendation from faculty or professionals.
