American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS)
The largest of the ASPRS student awards at $10,000 plus a one-year membership, open to doctoral students in the United States or Canada. The fellowship recognises PhD candidates who show exceptional interest and ability in remote sensing or related geospatial information technologies and who are developing practical applications of those technologies. Applicants submit a list of remote sensing coursework and a statement describing their intended applications of remote sensing for mapping, monitoring or assessing land resources, alongside transcripts and two reference letters.
