HONORS (Hematology Opportunities for the Next Generation of Research Scientists) is the American Society of Hematology's research award for medical students and residents in the United States, Canada and Mexico with an interest in hematology research. It provides a $5,000 stipend to carry out either a short project of up to three months or a long project of three to twelve months, plus a $1,000 travel allowance each year for two years to attend the ASH annual meeting. Applicants must have at least twelve continuous months remaining before completing their medical degree and must be ASH members in good standing or have a membership application pending.
