ASE Education Foundation Accredited Programs & Entry-Level Certification

About This Program

The ASE Education Foundation sets the accreditation standard for automotive, diesel and collision repair training in the United States, and is the body that determines whether a given school's programme meets industry requirements. It reports supporting 1,800 schools with ASE training programmes and roughly 118,000 currently enrolled students. For students the practical entry points are its Entry-Level Certification tests, of which the Foundation records 148,864 passes, and its accredited-school finder, which is the reliable way to check that a transportation-technician programme is industry recognised before enrolling. The Foundation also runs a scholarship programme, apprenticeship grants including a federal grant programme, and employer connections for internships and mentorships.
