A programme of the ASCM Foundation, the charitable arm of the Association for Supply Chain Management (formerly APICS), that engages undergraduate students with the supply chain field by funding their attendance at the ASCM annual conference. Scholars receive complimentary conference registration and hotel accommodation courtesy of the Foundation, and are matched with mentors who share their expertise with the incoming generation of professionals. The programme sits alongside ASCM's Supply Chain STEM Educational Outreach Program, which delivers age-distinct K-12 activities linking science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts to supply chain, run by volunteers or teachers in any school, club or community organisation. Both initiatives target the industry's ongoing talent shortage.
