About This Program

A national scholarship that pays 100 percent of tuition at any of the 1,000-plus participating colleges, plus $420 a month during the school year for living expenses and $1,200 a year for books. It is open across degree fields rather than restricted to a set major list, which makes it one of the few routes to a fully funded engineering, computing or science degree that does not depend on family income. Nursing students have a dedicated pathway including a three-week paid Nurse Summer Training Program. High school applicants apply in three rounds for the Class of 2027, and college students apply through their campus Recruiting Operations Officer without a fixed national deadline. Recipients commit to eight years of Army service split between active duty and reserve components; students may leave after freshman year without incurring the obligation.
