A two-year robotics technician apprenticeship developed by the ARM Institute, the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Manufacturing USA institute, and delivered in Pittsburgh by New Century Careers. The programme combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training so participants build practical robotics and automation maintenance skills alongside working technicians. It is open to anyone with a high school diploma or equivalent, and no prior robotics experience is required. The ARM Institute also maintains RoboticsCareer.org, a free national directory built with roughly 300 industry partners that connects workers and job seekers to robotics and automation training programmes and employers; more than 100,000 people used it in 2025.
