Three awards from the Washington chapter of the American Public Works Association for students at Washington State institutions whose major benefits the field of public works. The Jack Pittis Memorial Scholarship pays US$10,000 to the first-place four-year degree candidate and US$5,000 to the runner-up, and a Higher Education Scholarship of US$2,500 supports students in two-year degree programs at colleges or technical schools within the state. Winners are announced at the chapter's fall conference.
