Five scholarship tracks for students heading into public works or transportation engineering across Northern California: the James C. Ray Transportation Scholarship at US$2,500 for students at UC Davis, Sacramento State, University of the Pacific and Chico State; a high school senior award up to US$1,500 for graduating seniors across 24 Northern California counties; community college and technical school awards up to US$2,500 each; and a university award up to US$3,500. Every recipient also receives a year of paid APWA membership, and award checks are distributed in August.
