The Polaris Trade Scholarship is the vocational counterpart to the AISES Polaris Academic Scholarship, awarding $2,000 to students enrolled in vocational or certificate programmes rather than degree pathways. The GPA threshold is set lower than the society's degree-track awards, at 2.0 or above, in recognition of the different academic profile of trade and certificate students. It is one of the few named STEM scholarships specifically reserved for Indigenous students in the skilled trades. Applications close 30 April.
