The Polaris Academic Scholarship is a $5,000 award from the American Indian Science and Engineering Society for full-time students in engineering, information technology and manufacturing fields, reflecting the industrial and advanced-manufacturing side of the AISES membership. A GPA of 3.0 or above is required. It is paired with a separate Polaris Trade Scholarship aimed at vocational and certificate students, so the two together cover both the degree and the trades routes into the same industries.
