The Indigenous Peoples Education Fund Scholarship awards $5,000 to first-time freshmen entering any STEM field, making it one of the few sizeable awards in the American Indian Science and Engineering Society portfolio aimed squarely at the transition from high school into a first year of university study, where attrition is highest. A GPA of 3.0 or above is required. Applications are submitted through the common AISES scholarship portal and close 30 April.
