Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering
An annual school for senior undergraduate students at AINSE member universities, introducing them to research in nuclear science and related technologies. The online week in July lets students engage with ANSTO's landmark research facilities and network with peers from across Australia and New Zealand; online participants may then apply for in-person visits to ANSTO's Lucas Heights campus in Sydney, held during September. AINSE offers scholarships to participants. The 2026 edition marked the 30th anniversary of the event and drew more than one hundred students from 30 member universities.
