About This Program

The scholarship arm of the Associated General Contractors of America awards 150 or more undergraduate and graduate scholarships each year to students in construction management, civil engineering and related built-environment degrees. Undergraduates receive up to $2,500 per academic year, renewable for three years; graduate awards are $3,750 annually and renewable for up to two years. Applications are judged on academic performance, involvement in professional construction organisations, industry work experience and stated career goals. The Foundation reports distributing more than $11 million to over 4,000 students since 1970, and runs a rolling online application portal that opens well ahead of each award year.
