Paid internship and co-op placements at The Aerospace Corporation, the federally funded research and development centre for the national security space programme. Interns are mentored by senior scientists and engineers, take responsibility for real project work, and join the company's TECTalk networking programme alongside social, professional and volunteer activities. Roles span engineering, research, cloud computing, data science and business functions. Rising sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university degree programme may apply, and a small number of high school opportunities run through the company's K-12 STEM programmes. Offices are located in El Segundo, California; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Chantilly, Virginia; and Albuquerque, New Mexico. A University Partnership Program provides additional mentorship and hands-on routes into the space sector.
