A US Army-sponsored summer STEM enrichment programme, part of the Army Educational Outreach Program, hosted at Army research laboratories and engineering centres around the country. Students take part in hands-on, inquiry-based laboratory work tied to current Army research across science, engineering, mathematics and the biomedical sciences, mentored by practising scientists and engineers alongside near-peer college mentors. Open to rising 5th through 12th graders who are US citizens or permanent legal residents. Participants at in-person camps receive an educational stipend of 125 dollars per week toward travel and meals; applications typically run from March to April for summer placement.
