Travel support from the Association for Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine, formerly the AACC, for members of its Society for Young Clinical Laboratorians attending the ADLM annual meeting. A minimum of fifteen need-based travel grants of US$1,000 are awarded each year, rising to US$2,000 for applicants with minimal or no institutional funding, and each includes complimentary registration. Up to four merit-based Impact Awards also recognise candidates who make an exceptional contribution to the meeting. Selection weights demonstrated financial need at fifty per cent, a supporting statement from a programme director or supervisor is required, and international applicants are eligible alongside US members. Applicants may apply for only one award.
