The A.C.N.M. Foundation's core scholarship pool for midwifery students, awarded annually from restricted and endowed funds as funding allows. Named awards within it include the Midwives of Color - Watson Scholarship, the Edith B. Wonnell CNM Scholarship, the Sandy Woods CNM Memorial Scholarship, the GlaxoSmithKline Healthcare Consumer Scholarship, the Colorado Affiliate BIPOC Scholarship and the Pennsylvania Health Equity Anti-Racism Scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled in good standing in an ACME-accredited or pre-accredited basic midwifery education programme, have completed at least one academic or clinical term, hold current ACNM membership, and not have won the same award twice.
