A national initiative to increase the participation of people with disabilities in computing, working both directly with students and on capacity building for educators and employers. Students with disabilities can apply to join the AccessComputing student team, which offers mentoring and an online community alongside computing professionals, research funding and travel grants, workshops and webinars, career preparation and advocacy skills, and job placement support. It is run with partner institutions including the University of Washington, UC Irvine, Tufts University and Gallaudet University.
