The foundation of the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists runs a rotating slate of awards for students in JRCERT-accredited medical dosimetry programs and for certified medical dosimetrists. Named scholarships include the Gunilla Bentel Scholarship, the Rudi J. Bertrand Veteran Scholarship, the Siemens Healthineers Student Scholarship, the Sullivan Family Foundation Scholarship, and the Beekley Medical and Klarity Medical student scholarships, alongside an MDCB exam voucher and treatment-planning training grants. A Travel Grant and a year-round Fellow Grant are open on a continuing basis. Medical dosimetrists design the radiation dose distributions used in cancer treatment.
